Job Title: Backend Developer (PHP)
Location: Gulberg, Lahore
Experience Required: 3-4 years

Roles and Responsibilities:

1. Write code and tests, build prototypes, resolve issues, and profile and analyze bottlenecks.
2. Design robust APIs to support mobile and desktop clients.
3. Manage and optimize scalable distributed systems in the cloud.
4. Optimize web applications for performance and scalability.
5. Develop automated tests to ensure business needs are met, and allow for regression testing.
6. Understand basic concepts of design for developing user-friendly applications.
7. Stay up to date with the latest technologies and best practices in backend development.

Skills and Qualifications:

1. Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Computer Science or related field.
2. Proven experience in PHP development, with a strong understanding of PHP frameworks such as Laravel.
3. Experience in developing and integrating RESTful APIs, particularly for mobile and web applications.
4. In-depth understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles and design patterns.
5. Familiarity with version control tools like Git, Sourcetree, etc.
6. Knowledge of database management systems, particularly MySQL and/or PostgreSQL.
7. Experience with cloud platforms and distributed systems.
8. Understanding of Agile Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Scrum methodologies.
9. A growth mindset and a passion for innovative solutions.
